我对音乐的诠释^^

音乐像一本有趣的小说，

它的前奏就像个有吸引力的小说封面，

它的曲子像小说里故事的主题，

它的歌词像不断演变的故事情节，

它的副歌仿佛是主角的每一个喜怒哀乐，

而演唱的歌手就是故事里的主角，

有时也可能担任整个故事的作者。

对我而言，

MP4就是我心目中那一系列的小说，

耳机是我的近视眼镜，

那音乐岂不是我的灵魂？

林宇中之邂逅

昨晚看了娱协奖，无意发现到林宇中也出席了。这让我想起上次又是无意在Sunway Carnival Mall 撞上他的宣传活动。说实话，我并不是他的头号歌迷，连他最新专辑我都不清楚，偶尔也只听听他和Sheila Majid那首《Melody》。

不过，经过上一次的接触后，我真的对他另眼相看。不知那天我和弟弟是不是鸿运当头，竟然让我和弟弟霸上第一排的位子。除了拍到好的照片。（待会儿会看到）忘了申明，我的弟弟自从看了马来西亚那部偶像剧---《高校铁金刚》后，就迷上了林宇中和东于哲，那次的签唱会对他来说简直是如鱼得水。

回到正题，他的声音和歌实在是太棒了。专辑我那时是还没听过，不过现场简直是太棒了。这是我第一次崇拜我国的创作歌手。他那天的装扮并不夸张，并没有多加修饰，除了一头偏黄的头发，其他的与普通人没分别。这也是我崇拜他的一个原因，我不是很喜欢那种太有派头，每每上台就是夸张礼服的歌手，简单就是美，不对吗？？

最后妈妈还是拗不过我们，终于答应让我们破例一次，买下他的专辑。我那紧张的弟弟一上到台让偶像签名的时候已经冒冷汗了，结果人家拿起手想主动和他握手的时候，他竟然一溜烟跑下台。当场的，不仅是我，连林宇中都傻了眼。回家的时候真是笑死我了。所以每一次提到林宇中，我和弟弟自然会联想到“握手”两个字。

Rearranging My Memory Box

For those who know me well, or should I say seriously well, you would know I'm a forgetful person. One thing for sure, this has nothing to do with school grades and achievements, but my personal life. If you still can't get a clear picture of it, let me give you a tiny example.

Well, one day when I was in school after school hours for my extra class for chinese, I kept my violin inside the classroom for safe keeping, knowing how forgetful I was, my classmates constantly reminded me to take my violin when I was ready to go, there was also one friend who joked that I would left it...... In the end, it is not hard guessing that I LEFT MY VIOLIN IN THE DAMN CLASSROOM. So much for the reminders. Luckily, my teacher was kind enough to give me a call and not sell it to a music store. (I doubt my violin worth something...XD)Thank you teacher.... :D

Anyway, this post is a review of some trips or gatherings I went in 2010.

Ah! I remember this, a movie I won't forget. 3 days after valentine's day 2010 I tagged along with my best pal to a movie titled ' Percy Jackson--The Lightning Thief '. The movie was and still is awesome, I love all the characters, gods and demigods alike. Oh, and Percy was so cool.......( don't get it in a wrong way.....but Preyanka kept talking about him for the next whole week non stop...sorry Pre....XD). The only thing I wasn't cool about was the lack of detail and epic adventures compare to the novel. At least, I get a picture of the characters and the setting.

This is a long story. It all started one night when my family was having a gathering with my father's friend. He has two daughters who are younger than me (but more mature if you want to compare to myself..haha), who happens to be twins. I've seen a lot twins but to be honest they are the most friendly twins I have ever met. We often get along from time to time, but this outing was long after our last one. It has been a few years since I have seen Kristie and Crystal, yet they treated me like we were best friends, made me feel warm and alive. That night during dinner, we chat a lot, from school life to personal life and photography (Don't ask me how we get there coz' I have no idea myself). Anyway, both of them are fond of taking pictures and I so happened to have a camera that time, so we started our 'photo shooting' session.....haha. This is a picture of Kristie/Crystal's Pinkie (sorry, I forgot) above.

I managed to squeeze all our faces into the camera screen thanks to the help of a mirror.
(Luckily it wasn't an epic fail)

This is a picture of the famous Star Cruise. Too bad I was on the platform, not on the cruise. But, I accepted the fact, I rather take a few pictures of it under the hot sun. I wonder how does it feel to get on one of these one day????? (imagination power)
I just checked and I can confirm I'm not a fan of my own or over-self-obsessive if you get what I mean. It is just a picture, get over it.....The important thing is that the Star Cruise is just behind me.... :)

Korean Dance Insanity

2010, a year so hot that the korean breeze has to blow in to cool us down....In the end, it only worsen our condition coz' it made us craving for more.....

I was shocked to see this in my little brother's concert night, all the choir singing, action songs, musical instruments, and then suddenly this. OK, maybe I admit this is not the best dance cover for the song, but the important thing is that these performers, as primary students are dancing. You could see that korean music could change those who can't dance to those who can't stop dancing. The influence is HUGE. Dancing is something you do because you like it, not because you are force to.

PS: I tried two times to upload the video of the dance cover, and every time I would end up stuck on the page for at least 2 hours.....so sorry......

Vocal Exam---My last one :D

First of all, I would like to thank my vocal teacher. Without her, I wouldn't make it so far in singing. This exam noted my years of singing as a soprano, from my first teacher until now, they helped me a lot and inspired me to keep going. Singing is fun and I really love it....... I understand the pain of not able to sing (coz now I have serious throat ulcer problem) and swear to protect my throat and voice.

I wouldn't say that I'm a good singer (haha....you see....I don't practise a lot...forgive me...teacher and examiner if I hurt your ears that day...hehe), but I always sing with my heart, now and always. For those who also partipate in this exam, you would know how hard it is to sing four songs in a row without water, how hard it is to sing in pitch without ANY accompaniment, how hard to hold long notes (imagine holding your breathe for more than 30 seconds again and again.....). I'm not whinning, just merely explaining.


This is a picture taken with my teacher, some of her students, the receptionist and of course our examiner. I remember his last words before taking this picture. My mum was making a joke with him and he smiled and said : "I'm hungry!" I looked awkward in this outfit..... :D



Compare to the picture taken before, besides the awkwardness, the only difference between both pictures is the formality. Hehe....I still take the credits for the biggest smile.....cheese....... :)

Singing is not easy......u don't just mouth the lyrics and memorise it...but you will always find something new in singing........

On our juorney back to SP....( this is something out of the title....hehe)
P/S : My mum decided to take one of her best friend to cheer me up for my exam......As you can
see.....yes, it is undeniable it is the monkey.....say hi......Don't look at me....this is not
retarded.....Due to 'some' circumstances, my mum decided to keep Mr. Monkey close her,
so it will always stay in her sight.....

无奈

假期终于到了，
今天忙了一整个下午，
勉强把该打扫的都扫了，
感觉好像完成了一个大工程，
拜托，我说得一点都不夸张，
好不好？

刚开始那种感觉真好，
不过在我真正躺下来休息那10分钟后，
我头上连续出现了很多点，
最后演变成几只乌鸦，
在那短短却足以让人发疯的10分钟里，
我领会一个道理。

人生的无奈，
不在于很多烦恼，
而是当你自己闲得没烦恼的时候。
矛盾,对吧?

好了，
我说完了。
（继续处于无奈的状态）
